This is my story.

Hello, thank you for visiting my website, it's a pleasure to have you here. My name is Ricardo Castro Expósito.

Richard Castro is my stage name and I was born in the Canary Islands/Spain.

From a very young age, I felt a great attraction to the world of film and theater, and there came a point when this attraction became my life's path. At 22, I began studying acting, and after completing four years of Dramatic Arts, specializing in Textual Interpretation, I moved to Madrid in 2000, where I have worked and continue to work as an actor in film, theater, and television. In addition to working on television productions with directors such as Manuel Gómez Pereira and Daniel Calparsoro, among others, I also maintain ongoing training and development with film and stage directors such as Benito Zambrano, Paco Cabezas, José Carlos Plaza, Helena Pimenta, and José Sanchis Sinisterra.

My mixed education ranges from Jacques Lecoq to Utah Hagen or Stella Adler.

I am a versatile actor with many resources and skills who can take on multiple roles with great effectiveness.

Aware that this profession is a collaborative effort involving many departments, I strive to create a positive atmosphere and strong relationships both on the film set and within the theater company, setting high standards of self-demand to achieve the best possible results.

My skills include fencing, singing, dancing, horse riding, dubbing, voice acting, and multiple water, air, and land sports, making me an actor with good physical abilities and a strong work mentality.

I can work on projects in English as I am fluent in the language. I express myself in neutral Spanish. I have a strong aptitude for learning phonetics, both for accents across the spectrum of Spanish-speaking languages and for some other languages such as Italian and French.

I am 1.81 meters tall and weigh 86 kilos. My measurements are: Pants size 42, shirt size 42, jacket size 51, shoe size 44.
